Home Safety Checks

Peace of Mind Starts at Home 👫🗨️

CECP offers home safety checks on individuals as well as home safety and hazards. Sometimes the smallest things around the home can become the biggest safety risks without anyone noticing. A loose rug, poor lighting, difficult bathroom access, or cluttered walkways can make everyday life harder and increase the risk of falls, stress, or injury for both NDIS participants and aged care clients.

That’s why CECP offers home safety checks designed to look at the home through the eyes of the participant through their everyday living — not just its maintenance.

During a Home Safety Check, CECP May Look At:

💡 Lighting and visibility around the home
🚶 Trip and falls hazards
🚿 Bathroom and kitchen government regulations
🚪 Accessibility and ease of movement
🛏️ Bedroom and living space setup
♿General home safety risks and indivuduals health and state of mind
🛡️ Areas where accessibility could be improved

Why Families Appreciate This Service:

Sometimes families don’t realise how difficult certain parts of the home have become until someone takes the time to properly walk through the environment and identify simple ways to improve comfort and safety.

The Goal of a CECP Safety Check:

Not to make the home feel clinical or unfamiliar — but to help participants continue living safely, comfortably, and confidently in the place they know best !
