Fitness & Recreational Activities

NDIS Registration Group 0136- Group/Centre Activities

Not every activity has to feel like therapy.

At CECP, we encourage participants to stay active through activities that feel enjoyable, social, and achievable. Whether it’s getting outdoors, participating in group activities, or simply rebuilding confidence through movement, our focus is on wellbeing in a positive and encouraging environment.

Activities may include:

🌳 Outdoor walks and wellbeing outings
🎲 Group games and social activities
🎨 Creative and leisure activities
⚽ Light fitness and movement support
😊 Confidence-building recreational participation

Why participants enjoy this support:

Being active can improve:

  • Physical wellbeing
  • Emotional health
  • Social confidence
  • Motivation and routine
  • Community connection and friendships
A real-life example:

Hua had experienced isolation before the time CECP got to know him, but through enjoyable group activities and regular outings he slowly built his social confidence where he has become a leader among other participants.

What participants often say:

“The activities are a bonus – they actually make me look forward to the week so i can speak with my friends” Mohammed- (Auburn)

“I’ve suprisingly become more talkative socially since joining the activities that CECP run which makes me more happier .” Shirly- (Lidcombe)

The CECP atmosphere:

“We try to create activities that feel welcoming, relaxed, encouraging, and enjoyable rather than overwhelming, a happy and smiling face is a sign we are on the right  path.”  Aleena ( CECP support worker)
