Transport Assistance & Community Access đźš—

NDIS Registration Group 0108 – Assist-Travel/Transport

Sometimes transport is about much more than simply getting from one place to another.

At CECP, we understand that reliable transport can help participants stay connected to their appointments, families, communities, activities, faith gatherings, and everyday life. Our goal is to make travelling feel safer, easier, more comfortable and less stressful.

Transport support may include:

🏥 Medical and Allied Health appointments
đź›’ Shopping trips and everyday errands
🎉 Social outings and community activities
🕌 Faith and cultural gatherings
🏖️ Recreational outings and day trips
🏫 School, programs, and work commitments
đźš— General community access and transport support

Having reliable transport can improve:

  • Independence and confidence
  • Community participation and social connection
  • Access to important appointments
  • Emotional wellbeing and routine
  • Comfort and safety while travelling

A real-life example:

When CECP first met George, he found it difficult attending appointments alone and rarely left the house unless family members were available. Through regular transport support and community outings, he gradually became more comfortable travelling, attending social activities, and reconnecting with everyday life in the community.

What participants often say:

“The drives don’t feel stressful anymore because I know I’m travelling with people I’m comfortable around.” Ahmed – (Bankstown)

“Transport with CECP feels more like going out with friends rather than just getting dropped off somewhere.” Maria – (Parramatta)

The CECP atmosphere:

“We try to make every journey feel calm and friendly,  because even small outings can make a big difference in someone comes back home .”
Fatma – (CECP support team)
