Community Participation

Helping Participants Reconnect with

Life & Community  🌏

NDIS Registration Group: 0125 – Participation in Community,
Social and civic Activities

Not everyone wants big social events.
Sometimes community participation simply means:

  • getting out of the house
  • grabbing a coffee with someone familiar
  • attending community gatherings comfortably
  • feeling connected again

At CECP, we support participants to reconnect with the community at their own pace and in ways that feel comfortable, meaningful, and enjoyable to them.

Support can include:

🎲 Social and recreational activities
🚗 Community outings and appointments
🛒 Shopping and everyday errands
💬 Building confidence in social settings
🕌 Faith and cultural participation
😊 Friendly companionship and emotional support

Why this support matters:

Community connection can improve confidence, independence, communication skills, emotional wellbeing, and overall quality of life while reducing feelings of isolation.

What participants often say about CECP:

People appreciate that our outings feel relaxed, genuine, and supportive rather than rushed or overly structured. We focus on helping participants feel comfortable enough to enjoy the experience, not just attend it .
